Coventry Festival of Motoring is a fun-packed weekend of entertainment and car runs celebrating Coventry’s unique motoring heritage.
This year’s event is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before with over 550 run entrants expected. 10,000 visitors will descend on the Festival on Sunday 6th September.
New for 2009
The City Centre Parade – available as part of the weekend package only, the parade will follow a route through the city centre to give the people of Coventry a taste of what's to come over the weekend.
The Marketplace – shop for car-related products under cover at the Festival on Sunday.
The Festival Craft Fair – made popular at Coventry Transport Museum, the craft fair changes location for visitors to the Festival on Sunday.
Car Clubs – bigger and better than before will be the car club displays where proud owners can showcase their pride and joy.
In addition to these new activities, there will also be family entertainment during the Saturday afternoon, a civic reception and dinner on Saturday evening and the traditional run through Coventry and north Warwickshire – including a specially-arranged trip around the test track at MIRA.
