Unlike other CCTV set-ups, the MOBOTIX "decentralized camera" system from IPSS incorporates a high-speed computer and, if necessary, a digital memory (SD card) for long-term recording within every camera. This means that your PC can now just be used for viewing. The camera can record events with sound, without running a PC!
